OFFICIALS

Minister Ailbhe Naughton is head of the Department of Finance.  She has a doctorate in economics from Shearcutter University and was a Director of the Economic Research Institute before her election to Cabinet.  She also headed the Social Democratic Party�s Economic, Monetary and Fiscal advisory board.  She lives with her husband and daughter just outside Grandnexus City.

Chief Functionary Niall Murtagh is Head of the Civil Service in the Department of Finance.  He has a degree in History and Politics from Ataverse City University.

Dr Menir al-Jullah is the Head of the Economic Research Institute.  He is chief advisor to the Government on matters of economic importance.  His selection of directors has been more right-wing than in previous years, and he has successfully predicted a shift towards a free market in Thrace-Tailteann politics.
